A Glimpse Into Ruth’s Work World

What Ruth Loves Most
When asked about her favorite aspect of the job, Ruth highlights the relationships she has built. It’s not just about the intense and stressful work; it’s about the joy and camaraderie with her clients and coworkers.
“The client relationships and the camaraderie with coworkers. This work is intense and stressful, but I never leave work without smiling or laughing at least once each day because of a client or coworker. It’s what keeps me coming back every day.”
Fun Facts About Ruth
After Ruth worked for a smaller firm, she discovered the mutual respect, team mindset, and accountability that had been missing in her career, here at EWH Small Business Accounting.
“I worked for a smaller firm for a long time. As soon as I arrived at EWH, I realized I found my home and my family. The mutual respect. The ‘pulling in the same direction’ mentality. The team mindset. The accountability. These were all things I was missing in my career and finally found at EWH.”
Outside of work, Ruth has a rich personal life filled with family and hobbies. She enjoys supporting her daughters in their activities – her oldest daughter, a coach for all-star cheerleading, and her youngest, a college volleyball player. Ruth also has a passion for playing sand volleyball, a sport she started shortly after high school and still enjoys today. Interestingly, she met her husband while playing sand volleyball at what was once Kuglitsch’s (now New Berlin Ale House).
One of Ruth’s most cherished memories is attending a Styx concert.
“Styx was my first album and my first concert. Now I go see them whenever I get the chance – most recently in Las Vegas!”
Beyond the Numbers
Ruth is not just a CPA; she’s a dedicated mother, an enthusiastic sports lover, and a loyal Styx fan. Her unique blend of professional skills and personal interests adds a special touch to the EWH team, contributing to the positive and collaborative work environment she values so much. Here’s to eight and a half years of dedication and many more to come!
