Individual Income Tax
- Federal income tax deposits/estimates are due on April 15, June 15, September 15 and January 15
- State income tax deposits/estimates are due on the 15th of April, June, September and December
Corporate Income Tax
- Tax deposits are due on the 15th day of the 4th, 6th, 9th and 12th month of the fiscal year
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue is pleased to announce a new way for individuals to protect their Wisconsin tax accounts. The Wisconsin Identity Protection PIN hinders fraudsters from using an individual’s personal information to file a return and receive a Wisconsin tax refund.
Individuals must register for My Tax Account to receive the Wisconsin Identity Protection PIN:

After registration is complete and a PIN is received, you:
- will have comfort in knowing your Wisconsin tax accounts are secure and no one else can file a tax return with your information
- can quickly and easily renew your PIN each year
You must provide this PIN # to your tax practitioner. It will be required to electronically file your tax return.
