Edward W. Hastreiter

In 1979, Edward W. Hastreiter, a Vietnam War veteran with an accounting degree, founded EWH Small Business Accounting S.C. Ed began his career as an Auditor for the State of Wisconsin, where he recognized a significant lack of support for small businesses. Inspired by Michael E. Gerber’s “The E-Myth,” he understood that many business owners needed assistance to focus on business growth rather than just managing daily operations.

Starting with just his wife and himself, Ed’s dedication led to impressive growth for EWH. Today, the firm employs over 50 professionals and has offices in Waukesha, West Bend, Onalaska, and Madison. EWH offers comprehensive accounting services and coaches clients to achieve substantial business growth.

Outside of his professional life, Ed enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his two adult children and a beloved dog. He and his family cherish vacations in the US Virgin Islands, creating lasting memories.
