Jon Buerger

Jon Buerger, CPA, has been an integral part of the EWH Small Business Accounting team since 1997. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business/Management from Carroll University in 1992, solidifying his academic foundation for a successful career. Jon’s dedication to excellence is underscored by his CPA license, which he obtained in 1999. Additionally, Jon has received the Five Star Financial Services Professional award four times, showcasing his exceptional achievements in the financial services industry.

Jon is a trusted advisor on business and personal finances, tax planning, tax preparation, and payroll. His client-centric approach prioritizes building lasting relationships, allowing him to delve into the unique intricacies of each client’s needs. Beyond his client-focused role, Jon supports the EWH team, providing guidance on accounts and fostering staff development. His role also encompasses the efficient management of day-to-day operations at EWH, ensuring the smooth functioning of the firm.

Outside the professional realm, Jon finds joy as a father of two adult children along with two adult stepchildren and four grandchildren with number five arriving in August. He also enjoys moments spent with his wife and four dogs. Jon’s adventurous spirit is reflected in his diverse interests, including fishing, hunting, golfing, and exploring new places to travel with his wife.
